In this quest, you must make sure the Musician doesn't die too many times. They cannot die more than 4 times in each stage, and 20 times total during the entire run.

Super Special Ability

While playing as the Bouncer after completing Bodyguarding, with Super Special Abilities (Mutator) enabled:

  • Stomp causing less damage to the player, damages NPCs and has a bigger radius.
  • Musician doesn't take as much health and calms down more easily after mutiny.

Tips and Strategies

  • This quest can be difficult, due to the Musician constantly following you and having to protect him/her while completing missions. Furthermore you can no longer order the musician to stay or guard in any way.
  • Try to avoid large fights or getting caught in crossfires, as the Musician may retaliate against attackers, potentially leading to his death.
  • Use stomp to start most fights, if your target has weapons or has Goons or others aside them. Or use it if the situation is getting rough.
  • The Musician will randomly demand to be taken to a Toilet, ATM, Shopkeeper, Bartender or Drug Dealer. Taking too long causes the musician to become frustrated, leading to him running off on his own or attacking the player.
  • Random NPCs, spoting the Musician, may decide to become fans of the musician, becoming Loyal towards you while only following the Musician. This can help or even work against you as they're only Loyal, not Aligned. They'll leave and revert back to neutral if their health gets too low.
    • Cops who are fans will most likely not like you and your musician if you do something they don't like, such as attacking other Cops.
    • Having Gangsters makes their rivals attack them, including you and the musician. And attacking members of their own gang with make them hostile.
    • Goons, Bouncers or owners of an establishment may also join and follow the musician. Use them to your advantage. However avoid doing things they do not like, like attacking their owners or the buildings they are supposed to guard.
    • Shopkeepers, Bartenders, Doctors, Drug Dealers Clerks and Slavemasters can also be fans, selling you items or heal you with a discount.
    • Slum Dwellers can help you out by causing a ruckus unlimited amount of times until the end of the level.
