Confused is a negative status effect in Streets of Rogue. For players, it reverses movement controls ([Up], [Down], [Left], and [Right]). No other controls or input are affected for the Player. For NPCs, they will begin to move and act erratically for the duration. Generally this will result in them running into walls and/or standing in the corners of buildings facing the wall.
