Follows the Law of the Land unflinchingly, even if it doesn't always make perfect sense. Despite this, the Cop became disenchanted with the current government after a law was passed preventing more than four people from dancing side by side, sadly forcing the Cop's Village People cover group to disband.
The Cop is an NPC that you will find often (about 10 per level). They will patrol around the city and attack everyone who is not following the law. They always have a Police Baton or a Pistol to deal a lot of damage. Cops work together and they will often attack you in groups. Bribing a Cop or paying off the debt will give you the effect Above the Law.
How to fight: Use Handcuffs as often as possible. But remember that people aligned with your enemy will attack you. Stay with other cops to have some support. Do not hesitate to fight if necessary.
How to finish a mission:Handcuffs is a great way to get extra XP. Not just because Arresting is worth more than Killing but because you can get the Killed No One and Alerting No One mission bonuses for +200 extra XP. Try to arrest whenever you can. Use noise to divide and conquer your foes if they are too close to each other.
Don't be afraid to steal food to heal yourself. You only lose 10 XP when you steal from the innocent. You can steal from guilty NPCs without penalty, however.
If you are on a bad situation, try to find another cop to support you.
The cop can arrest everyone without fighting. However, if you are arresting innocents, you will lose some XP. A person linked to a mission will be a criminal, even if they did nothing wrong.
If you are having trouble with completing the Big Quest, you can create guilty NPC's by leading a Crepe to a Blahd or getting an NPC to hit another by mistake, this can be done by hitting an NPC and having them accidentally shoot/hit another one.
Also try to get No In-Fighting as it will prevent you from hitting other Cops/Supercops and vice-versa.
The cop should take any opportunity they can to acquire a Freeze Ray or Taser. Since anyone who attacks the cop is automatically guilty having one of these two items will allow the cop to incapacitate more than long enough to arrest their attacker.
You can get XP (and Big Quest points) by breaking out prisoners and then arresting them, because they are marked guilty right after the door opens.
You can throw a banana peel at a hostile NPC to stun them for long enough to arrest them.
It is possible to stage a Cop v. Supercop battle by attacking a Supercop enough. Other cops will help you out and other Supercops will attack you. This will not work if you are a Supercop, as all cops are aligned with you.
