The Podium is a unique object that can only be encountered once per run - a single Podium spawns inside a Park in Mayor Village. It serves as the ultimate goal of a run in Streets of Rogue.
The Podium cannot be destroyed by any means.
Interacting with the Podium will complete the game if the player is wearing the Mayor's Hat. This can be achieved by doing any of the following:
- Neutralizing the Mayor, whether lethally or not (the Mayor's Supercops do not need to be Neutralized), and then picking up the Hat.
- Having an NPC kill the Mayor (by the player's command or after hearing the Record Of Evidence), and then picking up the Hat.
- Successfully asking the Mayor to leave town, and then picking up the Hat from nearby the Elevator.
- Buying the mayors hat from them with the Art of the Deal trait.
- Turning the mayor into a Zombie and then picking up the Hat.
- Asking for the Hat while Aligned with the Mayor, through the Joke ability or other means. (this has a 30% success rate, even if the Mayor is Loyal or Friendly.
- Threatening the Mayor for the hat. This has an even lower success rate, and will make the Supercops guarding them Hostile if it fails, so a contingency plan is recommended.
- Running for Mayor and having an Electability of +1 or higher.
