The Slums are the first Stage in Streets of Rogue. In the Slums, things are very standard, with no strong points of interest. There is a notably amount of Slum Dwellers however. After beating level 3, you are taken to Industrial.
The first level of the Slums is has no Cops, but they will begin prowling around the area, watching for illegal activity on the second level. The third level will most likely be the first Disaster Level you will experience in a run.
