Traits are essentially passive abilities in Streets of Rogue. They can be beneficial or detrimental. All official characters start with at least 1 trait; more can be earned through leveling up, or in special cases, through Special Abilities. Note that some traits are exclusive to some characters and cannot be obtained by others.

Below is a list of all traits currently in-game.

Name Description
Addict Either have Feelin' Alright or Withdrawal effects, depending if you used drugs or not.
Antisocial Most NPCs won't align with you.
Army of Darkness Recruit a maximum of 5 zombie followers.
Art of the Deal A shrewd negotiator, recognizes that everything has a price. Can purchase items from anyone, including safe Combinations and Keys.
Backstabber 2x damage from behind; 10x if you are using Camouflage.
Banana Lover Bananas restore twice their normal health value.
Big Bullets Bullets are twice as large.
Blahd Basher Blahds will attack on sight. More Experience awarded for killing Blahds.
Blends In Nicely Distance at which people can see you is reduced.
Bloodlust Gain 10 health per kill.
Bloody Mess Anyone killed is turned into a pile of gibs.
Butterfinger-er Chance to knock an enemy's weapon out of their hands when they are blocking.
Camera Shy Security Cameras cannot see you.
Charismatic Anyone who is neutral will become friendly.
Class Solidarity Can't hit people of your own class, or make them hostile.
Clumsiness Accepted People do not become annoyed or hostile if you break their property. This does not include walls.
Computer Illiterate Cannot interact with computers.
Crepe Crusher Crepes will attack on sight. More Experience awarded for killing Crepes.
Diminutive You are much smaller, deal less damage, and take more damage.
Disturbing Facial Expressions Enemies are more likely to run away during battle. Increases Threat Chance
Don't Make Me Angry Inflict more damage on enemies when health is low.
Drug-a-lug Syringes are all identified.
Durabilitacious Melee weapons take longer to break.
Fair Game People will either run from you or try to kill you.
Fast Melee Melee attack speed is multiplied by 1.25.
Flesh Feast Melee hits with fists restore 3 health.
Floats Like Butterfly More mobility when performing melee attacks.
Friend of the Common Folk The "generic" people of a stage will be loyal. This currently only includes Slum Dwellers.
G-P-Yesss All icons on your map are revealed.
Graceful Floor hazards are not triggered.
Honor Among Thieves Thieves will sell you Thief Equipment at discounted prices and prevents thieves from stealing from you.
I'm Outtie Gain speed when health is low.
Ideological Clash Random chance for NPCs to be hostile towards you.
Increased Crit Chance Crit chance is increased by 3%.
Infectious Spirit Followers gain extra health.
Jack of Extra Trades 2 more traits to chose from when you level up.
Jugularious Health can only be restored with blood (Through Bite ability).
Kneecapper Chance to cause Slow when hitting enemies.
Knuckley Damage value of Fist is multiplied by 1.4.
Lasers Ignore You Pass through lasers without them reacting.
Loneliness Killer When the player enters a new stage, an NPC of their same class is spawned alongside them and added to their party.
Long Lunge Longer lunges when performing melee attacks by a factor of 1.5.
Longer Status Effects Status effects last 1.5 times their normal length.
Loud Movement causes noise.
Low-Cost Jobs Hiring people costs less.
Malodorous People who would normally be neutral are now annoyed.
Master of Disaster Receive XP for each object or wall destroyed.
Medical Professional Gives you the ability to heal Aligned NPCs once per floor.
Modern Warfarer When health is below 20 and 4 seconds have passed since the last time damage was inflicted to the character with this trait,

health increases at a rate of 1 per second.

Moocher Allows you to borrow money from vendors.
Naked Cops are hostile towards you.
Nimble Fingers The Action Bar time is significantly decreased.
No In-Fighting Melee and projectile hits on aligned people do not register.
Pacifist Can't use most weapons.
Pea-Brained Cannot interact with anything, and can't use items. Food can still be consumed.
Poor Hand-Eye Coordination The Action Bar time is significantly increased.
Potential To Not Suck A random stat gains a level up every other level, starting with level 2.
Promise I'll Return It! People do not become angry when you steal their property. Does not work when you pickpocket someone.
Sausage Fingers Cannot use any weapons.
Scientist Slayer Scientists are hostile. More Experience awarded for killing Scientists.
Serve Drinks Serve Cocktails to anyone, like it's your job or something.
Shrewd Negotiator Items in shops cost less.
Skinny Nerdlinger Knockback from attacks is 1.5 times larger than normal.
Sleep Killer Instantly kill those who are sleeping (most often in a bed).
Slippery Target Projectile weapon accuracy of attackers is 2 points lower.
Specist Gorillas are hostile. More Experience awarded for killing Gorillas.
Strict Cannibal Can only heal by feeding on corpses (or with alcohol).
Stubby Fingers Cannot use projectile weapons.
Studious Gain extra XP. (29.9%)
Sucker Items purchased from other people cost 1.25 times their value.
Super Studious Gains lots of extra XP. (50%)
Suspicious Most business owners will be annoyed at you.
Tank-Like Knockback from attacks is 2/3 as large as normal. Knockback from guns is decreased.
Team Building Expert Up to 3 people can be hired to join your party.
Tech Expert Provides additional options with hacked computers.
The Law Cops are aligned, Supercops are friendly. Committing crime against innocent people causes you to lose XP.
Ultimate Butterfinger-er Always knock an enemy's weapon out of their hands when they are blocking.
Unstoppable-ish Knockback from damage is severely decreased, bullets don't cause knockback.
Upper-Crusty Allows you to use Alarm Buttons.
Vocally Challenged Cannot speak to anyone, unless in possession of a Translator.
Walls' Worst Nightmare People can be knocked through walls using less powerful attacks than normal.
Zombiism People who have contact with you and die are turned into zombies.
