The Upper-Cruster is a character that appears in Downtown and most prominently in Uptown. They play a similar role to Slum Dwellers as the common citizen of Downtown and Uptown.
Since the Alpha 60 Update it is possible to play as the Upper Cruster if the Slum Dwellers Big Quest is completed.
Behavior
- The Upper-Cruster is one of two NPCs in the game to run away from conflict as a priority. They will flee to the nearest Alarm Button and will press it to summon a Supercop. The other NPC is the Mayor.
- Some Upper-Crusters may spawn with a Slave companion.
- You cannot interact with them (hiring, etc) unless:
- The Upper-Cruster is a mission target
- The Upper-Cruster is a vendor
- You have Serve Drinks.

Tips and Strategies
- It is highly recommended that you kill an Upper-Cruster who is running to an Alarm Button. Fighting a Supercop is much harder and you'd want to avoid that situation in most cases.
- Random Reverence+ is good in this case as the Upper-Cruster may summon an Aligned Supercop, allowing you to safely kill the Upper-Cruster with the help of the Supercop.
